The advantages of Tri-Wall as an alternative to wood and metal packaging were quickly recognized. In less than ten years, Tri-Wall came to be seen in almost every sector of industrial and agricultural transport packaging. It then expanded its reach worldwide, and in 1974, in partnership with one of Japan's largest paper companies, Tri-Wall entered Asia. Tri-Wall was developed in 1952 by the Goldstein brothers, small box manufacturers in New Jersey, USA.
