Company History
Thai Gunze Co., Ltd. was initiated by the co-operation of Gunze Ltd. (Japan) and Saha Group (Thailand) to set up a production base for knitted fabrics and innerwear in Thailand. With a capital of 180 million baht, it was first established in 1990 as Thai Gunze Dyeing Co., Ltd. and was renamed as Thai Gunze Co., Ltd. in the following year.
Initially, the company started its operation by producing men's underwear to support the market in Japan. Under the famous brand name of Gunze, it possesses high quality of comfort and design making it popular among Japanese men for more than a century. When this product was first launched into our domestic market in 1993, it was widely accepted by Thai gentlemen. Since then, to better service to the local market, the company has developed and launched new products continuously. In 1995, ZEG, a new brand of men's underwear was unveiled to the market, followed by DEOGREEN, a successful brand in the Japanese market to our domestic market in 1998. In addition, the company expanded its product lines to other categories covering ladies' underwear, knitted textiles and Levi's T-shirts. We always produce as high quality products as Japan side does while streigtening production of cloth fabrics for local market.
OEM Business
Thai Gunze develops the OEM Business, according to the corporate image of customers as well as the concept and intended-use of their products.

Antibacterial and deodorant processing (DEOGREEN) solves problems of “sweaty smell and bacterium”
The “sweaty smell and bacterium” problems exist wherever “fibers” are used. And the “fibers” are used for many products, including daily supplies and industrial products.
Thai Gunze undertook joint studies with Japan Gunze and established original, value-added processing techniques, called DEOGREEN.

Permanent Soft Cloths “Dura-Soft (Durable Soft) Process”
“Dura-Soft Process” represents a state-of-the-art technology that increases advantages of the raw cotton without damaging cellulose and improves softness and durability by patented new-soft-rinse processing.

- Cotton yarn inspection
Cotton yarn is purchased from domestic spinning makers. Its quality must meet with Gunze's standards. Upon delivery, all purchased yarn is regularly inspected to check its quality based on Gunze's standards.

To compile a stable high-quality fabric using the original frame GUNZE.
- Inspection
●Dyeing and Finishing
- Bleached cotton
Cotton wax within the cellulose is left untouched, only impurities and colourings are bleached without damaging the texture.
- Dyeing
We maintain a high degree of fastness, also rinse off fabrics with safety anionic softning agent to make them softer and more comfortable.
- Finishing
The process of utilizing technology put fabrics into best conditions.

Prioritizing a great comfort, cutting is carefully designed and carried out precisely based on the data acquired from long studies and reserches.
